On August 15th and 16th, the Corl team packed their bags and headed to the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, the birthplace of Ethereum and hub spot for blockchain start-ups. The objective of the conference was to bring blockchain innovators, pioneers, and enthusiasts together to discuss the current state, trends, and future of blockchain technology. By the end, the conference attracted over 2300 participants and 128 speakers.

The Announcement

On the second day of the conference, Corl’s CEO Sam Kawtharani was introduced by Polymath’s Trevor Koverko to present Corl’s token announcement on the main stage.

The main announcements included:

  1. Corl has pre-filed our prospectus with the Autorité des marchés financiers (the Quebec securities regulatory authority) to qualify the public distribution of tokens in Canada.
  2. Upon filing, Corl will be the first company in the world to “Go Public” through a token.
  3. Corl will be accepting POLY during the STO.

These have been a very exciting few weeks for the Corl team. We are truly humbled by the level of support and words of encouragement from those at the conference as well as those online. To learn more about what’s going on at Corl and to stay up to date with the latest developments, join us on Telegram and Twitter.
